One of the reasons I love the internet so dearly is the way it allows us to share. some people share what they had for breakfast others share their thoughts and every now and again something special happens and 2 people bring their talents together to create something magical. Why am I writing about this on my blog right now? The reason is Veldt.

If you read all of my posts you will know I’m a @DeadMau5 fan. Reason being we get to watch him do what he loves and create music by way of live stream. What really puts a smile on my face is listening to his latest single “Veldt” The lyrics came about by someone watching his stream recorded himself and tweeted @Deadmau5 with his vocal version of the track. Deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman loved it and it’s now his latest single.

I think if you know who and what Deadmau5 is about and you’ve watched his live stream you will understand where the words to Veldt come from.  I seriously admire Joels freedom in letting us all come and watch while he creates magic in his Toronto home studio and believe he’s breaking new ground in the way music is not only made but also shared. Congratulations to Chris James for the perfectly fitting vocals and lyrics.
