Sup sup yall!

Been a great few days for me here, I just moved into a new place right on the beach and I also purchased the new Maschine MK2 which is the first ever piece of studio hardware I’ve ever owned. Yes I’ve had a little play with software like Fruity Loops but having 16 pads to jam with (I think) makes a whole lot of difference when trying to create organic sounding music.

The main reason I dropped a reasonable wad of cash on this is simply because I believe it’s the piece of hardware I’ve been waiting for and while I call it “My New Toy” I actually look at it as a tool which one day may hopefully generate its value in revenue. You may think I’m just trying to make music to make money and I assure you this is not the case. There are millions, if not billions of people all trying to make money through music but I believe that owning this Maschine will allow me to just focus on the music.

With my various blogs and youtube channel you will be able to watch me get better and better at producing great content with minimal help and having the Machine will allow me to create the soundtrack to go along with it all. I plan (Once I learn the ropes) to make my own background music for videos and eventually possibly songs or even an album which will be available for purchase on sites like itunes. But I guess before I get ahead of myself I should carry on reading these Help PDF files and crack on instead of blogging about it.
