I’ve lived back in the UK for a good few years now and even though it can be depressing if you watch the news everyday I’ve quite enjoy’d it so far. If you don’t use mainstream ways to get your TV entertainment you find it’s much better to have the freedom to watch what you want when you want. I also love you can have almost anything delivered in just a few days, some things can be delivered within 45 mins depending on what it is and all of this can be done via this wonderful thing we call the WWW.
But somethings come up and its time to head back to Greece, Namely The island of Corfu.
While it’s been a good few years since I was last there I’m very interested to see how far it’s progressed. No doubt I’ll still not be able to put my toilet paper in the toilet and some streets won’t have names. Ordering items online might be a slight challenge. On the up side I’m sure there’s less crime and nicer weather :)
I trust I will still be able to carry on with my online doings such as playing PS3 online and working with people all around the world in ongoing projects. I wonder if Greece has Netflix yet? how hard is it going to be for me to purchase PS3 content on my UK account? How fast can I get my internet?
One thing I think is cool as balls is the fact I can pick up and go with just a couple weeks notice and that I like!
Long live freedom, Long live the internet.
P.S. I might have to record a video montage of my flight over :)
