I’ve seen these things before but always thought they would be WAY out of the price range of the normal person but $1750 for the one colour and $2000 for the 2 colour model means surely it won’t be long till the price of these things start coming down further as 3D printers get more popular. I think we will see these things in every home in the not too distant future.  The first thing I would make is either a RobGroove.com 3d statue to sit on my desk or maybe a PSJunkies.com one. While my uses for this technology is just for fun I can’t help but think how great it would be to figure out exactly how to design whatever I wanted.

One of the coolest parts about this product is the fact its all open source with a large and growing community behind it which means the sky’s the limit. Also just think how many new inventions can now be created. THIS is the future and its here……. AWESOME!
