Twitter is a very useful tool for staying up to date on all of your interests. While I’m at work on my lunch breaks I usually always check my twitter to see whats going on in the gaming world and today came as quite a surprise as I noticed The great man himself Kaz_Yamauchi mentioned a new element coming around early February.

Twitter can sometimes require a bit of decoding especially when its being translated from Japanese to English but from what I can gather from this golden twitter nugget is we will either be getting a new element in Gran Turismo 5 (possibly the Pikes Peak course) and remote play or just remote play. Either way its great news.

Remote Play

For those of you who don’t know what remote play is I believe it’s a new way of playing which will allow us to log into the Gran-Turismo.com website via laptop, desktop or smart phone and race our B-spec drivers. I do also believe we might be able to race our B-spec drivers against friends on their PS3′s racing A-spec.
