I've seen these things before but always thought they would be WAY out of the price range of the normal person but $1750 for the one colour and $2000 for the 2 colour model means surely it won't be long till the price of these things start coming down further as 3D printers get more popular. I think we will see these things in every home in the not too distant future.  The first thing I would make is either a RobGroove.com 3d statue to sit on my desk or maybe a PSJunkies.com one. While my uses for this technology is just for fun I can't help but think how great it would be to figure out exactly how to design whatever I wanted. One of the coolest parts about this product is the fact its all open source with a large and growing community behind it which means the sky's the limit. Also just think how many new inventions can now be created. THIS is the future and its here....... Why does bacon taste so good? my personal beliefs are that the complex chemical interaction in the meat is what produces the winning combination of taste and smell in a bacon butty and that the reaction between amino acids in the bacon and reducing sugars in the fat is what provides the simple snack with its appeal. Also the chemical changes that take place when the bacon is heated are more important than other variables such as brown sauce distribution or toaster settings. At the centre of it all is the Maillard reaction, a chemical reaction between an amino acid and a reducing sugar which often requires heat. The acid and sugar react to release a huge amount of smells and flavours. The smell of sizzling bacon in a pan is enough to tempt even the staunchest of vegetarians. We're in a new era of entertainment. With so much content at our finger tips thanks to the 3 W's we are no longer to conform our entertainment to the drip feeding TV companies who decide what we watch and when we watch it while blasting us with adverts making 30 min shows only show 20 mins of stuff worth seeing. It's not surprising the internet not plays such a big part in out lives as far as entertainment is concerned. Music Videos Chase & Status - Blind Faith (Uploaded Dec 9th 2010) Definitely one of the best videos I've seen this year has to be Chase and Status - Blind Faith. It was only when I did a little research into the making of the video for this blog that I realized the video was recorded for the track. Ever been stabbed in the back by someone you called a friend? I did yesterday and still today I can't believe someone I know (thought I knew) could do something to me like this. The Story: A little over 2 weeks ago the PSN (PlayStation Network) was taken offline by Sony due to a security breach initiated by the group Anonymous and all over the world millions of PS3 games have been waiting, watching searching the internet for any signs of when the online services will return. So about a week into this ordeal I thought I'd create a page which shows the PlayStation Networks status which automatically refreshes every 10 min's so other gamers could just have this page up on their computers to know within 10 mins when the PS3 will be able to connect to the internet again. The page worked well and I then stumbled onto a page with a rotating globe which shows the locations of all the people watching the web page. As the page got more and more popular I added a comment section to allow the viewers a way to communicate. So after lots of hard work in my free time I mianaged to get PSJ up and running with some help from Omac_brother but now thanks to Killzone 3 I've hardly had any time to write. I did say that this blog wouldn't be about playstation 3 from now on but that doesn't mean it's not going to get some mentions from time to time. PlayStation is my addiction after all. I will be writing a GT5 blog some time soon and also after I get my hands on the Thrustmaster T500RS steering wheel I will compare and review the GT Driving Force, G27 and T500RS but I'm still working on that. What's up readers, Hows it goin? If you check this blog regularly I'm sure you noticed I've been cutting down on the number of blogs recently and this is for a reason. I've been setting up a new website. The aim of the new site ( www.PlayStationJunkie.co.uk ) is to create a PlayStation dedicated place for myself and other writers to blog allowing use to build a new community on the web.
