Iv’e just spent almost 2 days updating my bloody laptop after i formatted and re-installed windows (it needed doing) 2 whole days of looking at this but at least now it’s done.
After re-installing windows and setting up the basic’s i decided to try out Google Chrome as my browser and even though i tried it once before and didn’t like it i found after playing with it for another 10 mins, i think i love it. Its very simple and clean looking. I’m sure i still have alot to learn but for the moment i enjoy seeing most of the pages i’m looking at instead of having a 3 inch tool bar blocking out the web content i’m trying to view.
1 of my favourite features though is the new tab page as it shows you the most visited 8 pages you visit – Genius!

So now im gonna knuckle down and try n build a robgroove.com google chrome theme, lets hope i can pull it off.
if you haven’t tried chrome yet you can get it here

With 3D technology set to make its entrance into our bedrooms and living rooms later on this summer (2010) i thought i better have a look into what exactly will be needed to enjoy this new experience. Sony have announced the Playstation already has the technology to run 3D.
What do you need?
HDMI 1.3 compatible with HDMI 1.4 i hear you ask?

The red and Blue glasses take a little while to get used to but when you take them off after a while things get even stranger lol, Just for a few seconds till your eyes adjust. However watching this movie i can see exactly how the NEW 3D technology (used in AVATAR) will look. Exactly like this but sharper, and everything in the correct color. Im still very excited but its not exactly as good as i thought it would be. I think 3-D will be a part of the future though and not just a passing fad. Would i recommend buying this movie? Well, Yes i would. If you haven’t seen a 3D movie before and are interested then give it a shot. If you already saw AVATAR in tru 3D i prolly wouldn’t bother.
