Tuesday, November 29th: Nokia Lumia Live – Millbank Tower on the banks of River Thames was turned into a living, breathing entity last night (mon) as Nokia celebrated the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone with the most spectacular light show the capital has ever seen. Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic Millbank Tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 4D images onto the structure, making it seem like huge butterflies were flying across the London skyline and that the tower was spinning around. Billed as the "future of live events" the spectacular show was accompanied by music from super producer deadmau5, who created exclusive remixes for the performance – adding the 4th dimension, and the event was broadcast live online. Ever been stabbed in the back by someone you called a friend? I did yesterday and still today I can't believe someone I know (thought I knew) could do something to me like this. The Story: A little over 2 weeks ago the PSN (PlayStation Network) was taken offline by Sony due to a security breach initiated by the group Anonymous and all over the world millions of PS3 games have been waiting, watching searching the internet for any signs of when the online services will return. So about a week into this ordeal I thought I'd create a page which shows the PlayStation Networks status which automatically refreshes every 10 min's so other gamers could just have this page up on their computers to know within 10 mins when the PS3 will be able to connect to the internet again. The page worked well and I then stumbled onto a page with a rotating globe which shows the locations of all the people watching the web page. As the page got more and more popular I added a comment section to allow the viewers a way to communicate.
