There's been a bit of a buzz on twitter tonight. Due to a Solar storm coming from the Sun, the Northern Lights have been viewable from Scotland and some reports from the Lake district. Later on through this week it is expected to work its way down to the Midlands. The strongest solar storm is estimated to hit earth January 27th - 28th. I will be checking the sky through the night this week and will upload any video of the Aurora on YouTube, stay tuned. We're in a new era of entertainment. With so much content at our finger tips thanks to the 3 W's we are no longer to conform our entertainment to the drip feeding TV companies who decide what we watch and when we watch it while blasting us with adverts making 30 min shows only show 20 mins of stuff worth seeing. It's not surprising the internet not plays such a big part in out lives as far as entertainment is concerned. As 2011 comes to an end I thought I'd share some of my favourite Interweb content with you. Tuesday, November 29th: Nokia Lumia Live – Millbank Tower on the banks of River Thames was turned into a living, breathing entity last night (mon) as Nokia celebrated the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone with the most spectacular light show the capital has ever seen. Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic Millbank Tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 4D images onto the structure, making it seem like huge butterflies were flying across the London skyline and that the tower was spinning around. Billed as the "future of live events" the spectacular show was accompanied by music from super producer deadmau5, who created exclusive remixes for the performance – adding the 4th dimension, and the event was broadcast live online.
