As I’ve spent a good portion of my life DJ’ing and generally listening/loving music I feel it’s in me to create something pretty awesome. Only problem is I just need time to learn to use some professional music production software. A while ago (about 1998 I think) I got my hands on a playStation 1 game called “Music” It allowed you to record samples from CD’s and chop them up, rearrange and create. you didn’t only just copy and create, it had some pretty advanced features (For a Playstation) which brought the studio production experience to gamers. I remember staying up all night tweaking one track to my liking. I created 3 tracks in total. I’m Real (Created using Music on Playstation1) I ripped a small section of Moby’s “Porcelain” and chopped it up, rearranged it then added my own percussion, beats and strings. couple years later I added the J Lo and Jarule lyrics to it using a PC. I wish I still had the original instrumental track but I didn’t back it up . Looks like Google have taken technology to the next level in what (if it works this well) looks like Apples Siri on steroids. I’m sure these glasses will only work this well in major city’s to start with and if it takes off it could revolutionize how we all go about our everyday lives. It’s a great idea I think but I think they will need to work on their eye wear first. Hey Google, build this into a normal pair of shades and I’ll no doubt give it a try. I’ve always been interested in video editing for as long as I can remember but back in the day it seemed impossible. Thanks to me getting my hands on some professional editing software and putting in the time to learn the basic’s I’m happy to say I’m on my way. I’ve started creating content to put on youtube and my monthly ad revenue is starting to rise. While it’s still at a level which doesn’t improve my standard of living it is a start in the right direction. So my new hobby which I hope to make into a career is video editing.  I love it. Last night I was up till about 630 am putting the finishing touches on an ad for the upcoming games tournament ANNHILATION which lead me to realize…… I need a more powerful rig. There’s been a bit of a buzz on twitter tonight. Due to a Solar storm coming from the Sun, the Northern Lights have been viewable from Scotland and some reports from the Lake district. Later on through this week it is expected to work its way down to the Midlands. The strongest solar storm is estimated to hit earth January 27th – 28th. I will be checking the sky through the night this week and will upload any video of the Aurora on YouTube, stay tuned.
