X2 cash weekend on Uncharted 2
Just incase you didn’t know, Naughty dog released a new add-on pack which includes a new CO-OP game mode, 2 maps and new skins and to celebrate they’re making this weekend Double Money. So its time to dust off that copy of U2 and throw that bad boy in your PS3 and rank up. I have to say the “Siege pack” has made me want to play U2 Online again as the trophies that come with it are all online based. I always thought the Online side of Uncharted 2 was AWESOME but i didn’t feel there was much point to ranking up, even if it does better your characters abilities that just wasn’t enough for me. Call me a trophy whore all you will but thats just the way i play now. But with these new trophies there is something to work towards which in turn gives me alot more gameplay for my money.
Breath of fresh air
One might argue “well, it sounds like your a slave to trophies” and “don’t you get bored” but its not like that. Without trophies you play till you know the game at which point you get bored as you have done everything. add trophies and you haven’t finished it and done everything at all have you? the game just got extended! New goals to reach, new kills to be had, Add new content to that and the game gets a breath of fresh air. Uncharted 2 is a game ALL and i mean ALL! PS3 gamers should own, play and platinum. Even more so now as it seems Naughty Dog haven’t finished with this title yet. Im sure theres more content on the way for this one.
DLC
Naughty Dog and Zipper Interactive (MAG) seem to know how DLC works. Ive seen alot of games be released then as soon as it’s released and after a few days whaddaya know, theres new DLC to “Purchase” and download from the PS3 store and its just a way for the game maker to get a little more money out of you, i was talking to a friend last night and he told me he’s been playing Dragon Age and in total he’s ended up spending $115 and thats just on one game. That blows my mind. Thats double the price of the original game. But at the end of the day it all comes down to is it worth it. As i have never played the game i can’t really say weather its worth it or not. He says it is but its all down to what ever floats your boat innit.

But back to my point im tryin to get across. Quite a few times ive bought DLC for a game and ive played it for a few mins and then got bored. Its obvious its just there to sqeeze a lil more money out of you. Naughty Dog it seems feel very strong about the U2 community and still put their all into giving us more great content and i applaud them for that.
Great work Naughty Dog keep it up, i look foward to seeing what comes next.
