Ok so Christmas has come and gone and im sure some of you have brand new playstation 3 slims but some of you want to change the hard drive. Not a problem.
I made the videos below quite a little while ago so they are made using the old playstation 3. The playstation i used is one of the more difficult PS3′s as you have to jump through hoops to install the system software back on it after you install the hard drive. However with that now said you should get a good idea of how to change any PS3 hard drive as if you have a different model it can only be easier.
I now currently have a PS3 slim with a 320gb hard drive in. just know before you start that you will loose all info on the hard drive if you take it out of one ps3 and put it in another. also you should know that if you update your ps3′s system software to 3.15 or higher you can connect 2 PS3′s together using an eithernet cable and transfur all the info from your old to your new PS3. as you can read about HERE http://www.robgroove.com/?p=204
