Great News Finally!
Just got word that Polyphony (the makers of Gran Turismo series) are releasing a Gran Turismo 5 Demo. From what i hear it will only have one car and one track, Dont know what the track will be yet but the car will be a stock and tunned Nissan 370Z.
Not only do we get the GT5 demo but there will be a chance of a lifetime attatched to the top 20 leaderboard places. the top 20 on the leaderoard will get to compete for a spot on the Nissan/Playstation racing team thanks to the GT Academy.
2008/2009 on GT Prologue Lucas Ordoñez, a 23 year old spansh student won the competition and went on to come a very close 2nd in the drivers classification but stil won the Team Championship in the European GT4 Cup season.
As for the Demo Track, Reports suggest it might be Indianapolis GP Circuit.
Sony have said the track will be “a specially created section of a new Gran Turismo 5 circuit”,
Heres a list of the available countries that will be able to try for the GT Academy
as you may have noticed USA and Canada arent included but will still be able to download the GT5 Demo from the Playstation store this Dec 17th
