Will E3 launch GT5?
Some of you may of had some problems logging onto the PSN yesterday and though it can be bloody annoying, its all for a good cause. Your PS3 now has the ability to play 3D games thanks to the maintenance yesterday and the PSN update which became available in April.
This all ties in with Sony’s upcoming release of 3D TV’s….
These 3D TV’s are available for pre-order now and should ship to retailers later this month.
E3
With E3 coming up next week i can’t help but think this is all going somewhere. 3D now possible on PS3′s, Sony releasing their 3D TV’s at the end of this month. I can’t help but think about how Sony are expected to release Gran Turismo 5 in a big 3D marketing campaign (see where im going with this? lol)
As suspicion of a likely GT5 release date at E3 spreads throughout the tinterweb like icelandic volcano ash filling up the airwaves, i can’t help but think Polyphony digital will surprise everyone with an earlier than expected release date. It’s definitely possible but we should also take note of PD starting to make more of an effort to advertise Gran Turismo 5 as documented on GTPlanet.net. While there is still a remote chance we won’t hear of a release date at E3 im pretty sure we can take PD’s word and expect the “definite 2010 release” we were promised.
