Silence………
Time for a bit of a rant i think. ALL OF YOU WHO GAME ONLINE WHO DON’T HAVE A MIC………. GO OUT AND BLOODY BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s not just MAG it happens but because MAG relys heavily on team work the need for everyone using a mic is multiplyed. How do you think our troops in Irag would do if they had no way of communicating with each other.
The Pro’s
- Use the mic to get your ideas across
- Meet new friends online
- Use your mic in a chat when you want to take a break and relax in a chat room
- Ask for help in a game
Cons
- Can’t think of one
Some games dont really require you to be able to talk online to be sucsessful but its still good to talk.
The official PS3 mic is great as it lets you use it while its charging on its stand but any bluetooth headset will work with the PS3 (almost any but i have not yet found one that doesn’t) which means you can get a mic for less than a tenner (Tenner = £10 for you NA’s)

while mics are an absolute must for any good online gamer, and the official playstaytion one is handy for the charging capabilities i Find that its ability to stay put on your head is lacking. It generally is too clunky for the small ear loop to stay around you ear as well as the earbud generally too large. So if your a gamer that likes to get up and do a victory dance after you saw 7 guys heads off at the same time with your mark43 mod1 you best duct tape that shit to your head.

Agreed with the guy above me.. The only real thing i love about the sony headset is the mute button. After all you dont want your buddys to hear you taking a pee :p..
I also have a Motorola that fits the ear much better but no mute
