Uncharted 2 Among Thieves won Game of the Year last night and damn well deserved too. Anyone who’s asked me what game to buy on the PS3 over the last couple of months ive told “Get Uncharted 2 its one of the best games ive ever played” and it is!!. When i first played the game it already had a pretty high level of hype and as with most hype’d up things thought it was all hype, But as i played through the game (1st time around) and as i progressed through the chapters i got more and more pulled into what is essentially a movie starring you (as Nathan Drake).
From the get go you’re emersed in the action starting the game waking up already bleeding on a train which is hanging of the edge of a snowy mountain cliff and the action just builds and builds from there.
I see this game as 2 games in one. The single player is absolutely amazing, its like an action packed 14 hour movie it really is. Then theres the Multiplayer part of the game. You can play COOP mssions with 2 other friends aswell as other game types as team deathmatch, elimination, and Plunder (capture the flag as pictured below)
This is a Great win for all PS3 gamers as it strikes a massive blow to the greedy monster known as microsoft who pissed off the PS3 gaming community a little while back when they bought the exclusive rights to add-on content related to GTA IV. Uncharted 2 beat the MONSTER game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Left for dead 2, Batman Asylum and assassins creed 2.
Thank you Naughty Dog for giving everyone yet ANOTHER!! reason to make the right choice and buy a PS3.
