Ive been doing a little research on this game which is set to be released this winter (2010) and i have uncovered some details which will feature in the game so check out my find.

Has the beta already started and where do I sign up?
Yes, it has! You can opt in for the beta here.
Will I be able to customize my avatar?
Yes, avatars will be completely customizable, you will be able to visit clothes stores to dress your avatar up and visit a cosmetic clinic where you will be able to change your avatar’s looks.
How will I be rewarded?
There 4 different ways of being rewarded.. Social/Competition/Discovery/Collection. The game will be composed of a level system.
Will there be police?
Yes, police have been confirmed.
How does the day and night cycle work?
The day and night cycle will be the same for everyone and one day in TDU 2 lasts2 hours and 30 minutes.
In addition to Ibiza, will Oah’u be included?
Yes, Oah’u will be included in TDU2 from the start. You will be able to access it at level 10.
Will bikes be in TDU2?
Yes. Bikes will be in TDU2 but they will not be added until after the game is released.
Will there be turn signals?
Yes, turn signals will be in TDU2.
Can you put your top up and down?
Yes. You can toggle your top so it will raise or lower.
What is the handling going to be like?
In a podcast done by Lee Kirton, he said “It’s a lot more like moviestyle. It’s more like Arcade, but it still not taking away that it’s real cars.”
Will there be SUV’s?
Yes.
Can the cars be modified?
Yes, as of now, you can add vinals to your cars. Other modifications are unknown though “Forza like customization” has been said.

Up to 8 players in freeride and up to 32 in “avatar zones”
