Starting in May Sony will be releasing playstation store updates aswell as system firmware updates on a Tuesday and not a Thursday like they do now. This means Playstation Gamers will receive DLC before Xbox Gaymers. Previously you have noticed that DLC always seemed to be released for Xbox a day before PS3. Not any more, Sony’s change means PS3 updates will be released before Xbox’s, Will Microsoft respond to this do you think?

Lets see, but mean while Enjoy all your DLC releases and PS3 updates on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays starting in May (Nice) : )

Changing / Upgrading your PS3 Hard Drive

Ok so Christmas has come and gone and im sure some of you have brand new playstation 3 slims but some of you want to change the hard drive. Not a problem.

I made the videos below quite a little while ago so they are made using the old playstation 3. The playstation i used is one of the more difficult PS3′s as you have to jump through hoops to install the system software back on it after you install the hard drive. However with that now said you should get a good idea of how to change any PS3 hard drive as if you have a different model it can only be easier.

I now currently have a PS3 slim with a 320gb hard drive in. just know before you start that you will loose all info on the hard drive if you take it out of one ps3 and put it in another. also you should know that if you update your ps3′s system software to 3.15 or higher you can connect 2 PS3′s together using an eithernet cable and transfur all the info from your old to your new PS3. as you can read about HERE http://www.robgroove.com/?p=204
