BlurTheGame Gaming (i thought) seemed to be in a bit of a lull at the moment, with lot's of MASSIVE! titles being released at the end of the year it kinda feel's like the industry is holding back ready to unload their full might on the run up to Christmas. The run up starts in mid September with the release of Test Drive Unlimited 2 and will be one of the best games of 2010 and should make the next 2 months wait for Gran Turismo 5 fly by. Then of course there's the release of the motion controller, Sport's champions, SOCOM 4 and Little Big Planet 2 to name a few. So with all that in the not too distant future we're faced with the question. Q: What do we play now? A: Blur When this game originally released it was over shadowed with the release of Split Second. Both blur and split second were released around the same time but split second was the first one of the 2 to have a demo available from the PS store and it sucked monkey balls. Upload PSN got the 3.40 update in the early hours of Tuesday morning (for us guys in the UK) and wow what a great update it is. 3.40 has added the ability to upload photo's and picture's from your playstation to either picasa or facebook aswell as comment on them via the "Photo Gallery" which you should find on your XMB (Cross media bar aka the PS3 Menu) aswell as let you even upload video from your PS3 to youtube or facebook. While the actual video editing is very simple it does let you edit out the parts you dont want and also lets you add text with a few basic effects (text effets) Now personally i will find it alot easier to edit video on my laptop but i think the reason we have this is for games which will allow us to upload our videos and share them with the world. Just found this while i was surfing around and had to share it with you all. Its a very simple process and only requires your PSN ID name, no passwords needed here. It looks great and can be added to your Facebook profile page from Here. REMEBER: NEVER sign into any other website but the official playstation websites with your PS3 account details as there are some websites out there who will use your details to gain access to your credit card linked accounts. It's happened to me once and it completely freaked me out. I then went to the Official Playstation website and used the "forgot my password" option to reset it. Double Whammy It's 5:37 am on saturday morning and for some strange reason i can't sleep. My guess is it's cause in the back of my mind i want to finish off beating Uncharted "Drake's Fortune" on crushing mode so i can get the damn platinum trophy as i have God of War III arriving this afternoon. So before i get on with that and so i can grab a couple hours of sleep this afternoon when RobGroove.com is set to update. I figure  i should write today's blog before i continue with my platinum endeavor  and what a blog it is today. Play TV update  With social websites like Facebook and Twitter growing in popularity, they will soon be making their way into more and more of the everyday things we do. In the UK TV networks are said to be adding social applications into our programming to allow people to communicate and share opinions on what they're watching and with an estimated 350 million Facebook users and approx 12.5 million Twitter users (and still growing) its not hard to see why. Play TV which is only available in Europe so far seems to be following suit. They recently gave notice that they're giving all PlayTV viewers a big update later on in the year which will include a facebook feature. More info on the update will be released at a later date but for now thats all they're saying. It looks like Twitter and facebook in the future will most probabley find their way into everything we do which i think is only a good thing as its a great way to communicate and share information.
