PlayStation 3 gamers in the UK are lucky today as they have the option to spend 99p on the Playstation store and buy the 17th episode of First play (the UK's answer to Qore) the HD downloadable game review video mag. Why buy this one i hear you ask? well it's going to feature a multiplayer preview of Gran Turismo 5. Will we see something new or just some old images / video with some new info who knows but for 99p you can't go wrong. The playstation store usually updates between the hours of 4pm - 6pm and while i don't know any of the other content that will feature in this weeks update i really can't say i care aslong as theres some GT5 goodness to be had. Are you a subscriber? Just got a surprise charge on my credit card due to my subscription to First Play running out. It automaticly subscribed me again and PSN+ does the same thing so i imagine Qore does too. If you subscribe to ANYTHING on the Playstation Network you will no doubt be set up for automatic renewal an if you have money in your wallet or a credit card attatched to your account you too could get a surprise bill. Lost Planet 2 I bought this game on day one and i'm happy i did as its bloody brilliant. I'm sure you played the Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer demo and if you didn't you should as if 1 million people download it, Capcom will donate $20'000 to charity. BUT! the LP2 MP demo doesn't do the game justice. It's kind of  annoying in the LP2 MP demo as you get to play one game and then you have to re-join the lobby, wait for it to fill up and then you can play and  the demo will not let you rank up. While this game has GREAT! customize options its not the bread and butter of the game. Get Co Op If you goto the PSN Store and use the search option, Look for lost planet 2 and download the LP2 CoOp demo. Grab 3 friends and beat that sucka. THIS! is the demo that will give you a good taste of the game. It's all about communication in this game so you might want to turn your mics on and well, you all should have your mic's on if your gonna play any game with the mic ability. Qore Some of you may already know about Qore. For those of you who don't, Qore is like an online Hi Def video magazine available to PS3 gamers through a paid subscription on Playstation in the States. The video mag would give you exclusive reviews and interviews aswell as downloadable content including beta codes for games like Uncharted 2, Socom, MAG to name a few. As its only available to gamers from the states ive had to make an amaerican account and purchase a $50 PSN top up card to purchase it. Well worth it. Qore cost $25.00 for a 1 year subscription which gives you one episode per month. First Play Well i just got great news that the UK looks set to receive the same kind of service with First Play. Seems pretty much the same deal as Qore but no mention of beta's yet. But, lets see i imagine we'll get some, Check it out..... No prices yet but its coming out on the PSN store in the spring. You will be able to purchase a single month or like Qore, subscribe for a year.
