Controller tip:. If you're using X and square to accelerate and brake you're doing it wrong!. When your driving a real car around a corner or anywhere for that matter, unless your a drag racer you don't put your foot down giving it full throttle everywhere you go. Same for the brake too, you don't slam on the brakes every time you want to slow down do you? So think about how you drive. you gradually use the accelerator and brake when you need them right? well the same goes for GT5. If you're going round a corner and you slam the throttle on you will spin out. The best way to control your power and brakes is to get a steering wheel and pedals. It can be expensive so if you want to just use [...]

First off I have to say I'am thrilled to hear a few details about the next Operation Flashpoint game due for release sometime in 2011 and while everything in the video (below) sounds and looks awesome, I just hope they fix a few minor problems I noticed in Dragon Rising. Dragon rising was a hit for Codemaster's in November 2009 I think mainly because of the timing. It came out at a time when everyone was itching for a new shooter to play and that's why I bought it, but once I started playing it I thought it was brilliant. Operation flashpoint isn't like the other shooters, yes there are boundary's you can't cross on the map but if you're playing the game properly you won't notice them. The magic of Operation Flashpoint (I think) is the CoOp aspect to it. It's just you and 3 friends with a mission to get done. For me playing online is what gaming is all about. It's not like the old days when you used to just sit in a room on your own playing a single player game, as fun as it was back then times have changed now. Gaming [...]

The update it seems will fix ALL the glithes and bugs in the game from elevation glitches, Getting kicked back to the XMB bug, to making the shotguns more powerful at close range and less powerfull at a far, it really does sound like they Finally finished the game. I say finish as they released the game before it was finished for whatever reason and so because of this, all SOCOM players have had to deal with a glitchy buggy game which in turn has given the game poor reviews. It's a real shame as any other SOCOM gamer knows although even with all the annoying hang-ups, This game has made and broken alot of friendships. SOCOM has played a massive part in my life aswell as pretty much [...]

Yes that's right 1.06 is here! This update focused on fixing glitches. Such as the very annoying javelin glitch, Infinite care package glitch, Elevators, GEO glitches such as the Rock, and of course some match making issues that throws you in to a private match. However there are still some things that this patch did not fix, such as party being spit up, and the speed glitch. These things will most likely be fixed in 1.07. We will keep you updated
