Your name in the GT5 credits

Yess that’s right, Polyphony Digital (creators behind the Gran Tuismo series) are giving us the chance of having our name put in the Gran Turismo 5 credits and all you have to do is come up with a name for a song.

The song is already written incase you were wondering and to choose the name all you have to do is listen to the song have a read of the lyrics and send in your song title.

Im guessing most people will go for the obvious so im taking my time to come up with something unique and if you want to give it a try here’s the link.

New Info on GT5

Finally got a release date.

November 2nd is the release date for GT5 in north America but im still waiting for a European and UK date. Also there is news of a special edition which includes model 1:43 Nissan GT-,R and a 300+ pages book with car history, driving tips etc and a code for 5 extra cars. Joining the game also is none other than Sebastian Vettel (F1 driver for RedBull) as your driving trainer and the Stig makes an appearance aswell as the top gear test track which you can see in the new E3 2010 Trailer.

It’s so nice to finally see the Top Gear Test Track in all of its GT5 glory it will be so much fun to challenge the Stig’s laptimes every week aswell as who ever is the star in the reasonably priced car .

Night racing, NASCAR, WRC Rally, Drifting, Top Gear Test Track, Online Multiplayer, Modifications, = EPIC!

Surprise in store at E3

Gran Turismo games in the past have not really had much customization so the fact that this magical word exist’s in this GT5 Trailer could mean great things, Be it vinyl’s or body kits and performance upgrades i still think we will hear BIG news about this game at E3.

Ad Hoc Party

Im getting VERY excited about hearing a little news of GT5 at E3 next week so i can’t help but get caught up in GT histeria and need a GT fix so…..

Me and a friend decided to give the ad hoc party app from the Playstation Store a try with Gran Turismo PSP. We did have a few minor problems to start with but got it working in the end. So i decided to make a video explaining how to get it up and running so anyone who has tried it and thought it didn’t work can see it does if you give it a little of your patience and for those who have never heard of it. Move speculation

Move & GT5

OK so everyones still bangin on about “ps3 move aint gonna be this” and “ps3 move wont be any good like that” etc etc but i think most people are missing the idea. I think they see the move and think of its limited Wii possibilities

But it’s not the Wii. It’s the Move. I also think everyone thinks that we will be using the PS3 Move to drive the 1000+ cars in Gran Turismo 5 but i think otherwise.

Think about it! Gran Turismo already have a very well made steering wheel already available for about the same price as 2 Move controllers and the Eyetoy will cost, so using the move won’t save you money there so why use the Move in GT5 if you won’t be driving with it?

The Move has a HUGE amount of possibilities and i would guess the guys over at Polyphony Digital will be alot more inventive when it comes to adding Move support to the game. Think for instance the possibilities of using it as a virtual camera. You could use it to take pictures of the car allowing you to walk around the car as if you actually had the camera in your hand (that would be pretty sweet) But even better yet, maybe you’ll be able to use it as a camera in a replay PD already told us wii er i mean we (lol) will be able to upload our GT5 videos to youtube so being able to use the move as a virtual camera and actually firm out own replays would be just plain SICK!!

Either way you look at it please stop dissing the PS3 Move before it comes out. watch the video below and you might just start to get an idea of what the ps3 Move can do.
