Been a busy Sunday for me updating all the GT5-SCOL forums and pages but its all done now and I'm happy I did it. GT5-SCOL Season #2 came to a close last night with the final race held at Daytona Road Course and was an excellent race with no major issues. One SCOL driver said "It's events like this that really make Gran Turismo 5 what it's meant to be" Gran Turismo 5 is a great game on its own but with competitions like SCOL happening once a week, it gives everyone involved something to practice for, look forward to and tweak their cars for. It's also event's like this that are making bad drivers good, good drivers better and better drivers excellent. Big thanks to everyone who took part and I'm looking forward to the next series of events in Season #3. A short while ago word spread about the net saying Polyphony Digital where sending surveys out to get feedback about the game. Many of us would love to get that survey and help shape and form GT5 into the perfect game but only a lucky few got the email. Luckily for us, GTPlanet.net have started  a very slick and smart ideas system which gives you 25 votes to spend on the changes you want to ee take place in GT5. With GTPlanet.net acknowledged by Polyphony Digital, I think our voices will be heard with this one. So make sure you pop over there and cat your votes. Remember, the goal here is to share what you’d like to see changed or fixed in GT5 - not major new features better suited for GT6 (we’ll get to that later). The clocks have gone back an hour in the UK making it seem late really early in the day. Speaking of seeming late lets talk about Gran Turismo 5. I read some disturbing news tonight. First of all I read how Little Big Planet 2's release had been brought foward to Dec 17th in the UK and this could maybe be to assure Sony has an exclusive release for Christmas. LBP2 was originally pushed back to Jan 2011 due to tweaking so why the change all of a sudden. Some believe it's because Polyphony Digital (makers of the GT series) will not be able to meet the dead lines AGAIN!!!! :O. At time of writing.... Amazon.co.uk took the release date off the product information completely Amazon.com say the release date is Dec 31st 2010 But what interest's me most is this...... Maybe this everyone who ordered special editions of GT5 will get it in 2010 and everyone who ordered normal copies will have to wait till 2011 or maybe they only changed the details on one item and forgot to change it for the signature edition expecting to update it later? Could we see another GT5 delay yet again? GTPlanet.net has reported multiple accounts of a GT5 demo popping up all over the USA in BestBuy stores and now it's showing up in Target stores (Bestbuy = Curry's Target = Tesco) and while it's great to see this happen I can't help but think when do we get it. When will it show up in UK stores and what about the rest of Europe and even the world? So I took it upon myself to do what I can to get this demo up on the PSN Store. I'm pretty sure whatever I do won't make a single bit of difference but I can at least try right?
