GT5 multiplayer Preview today

PlayStation 3 gamers in the UK are lucky today as they have the option to spend 99p on the Playstation store and buy the 17th episode of First play (the UK’s answer to Qore) the HD downloadable game review video mag. Why buy this one i hear you ask? well it’s going to feature a multiplayer preview of Gran Turismo 5. Will we see something new or just some old images / video with some new info who knows but for 99p you can’t go wrong.

The playstation store usually updates between the hours of 4pm – 6pm and while i don’t know any of the other content that will feature in this weeks update i really can’t say i care aslong as theres some GT5 goodness to be had.

Your name in the GT5 credits

Yess that’s right, Polyphony Digital (creators behind the Gran Tuismo series) are giving us the chance of having our name put in the Gran Turismo 5 credits and all you have to do is come up with a name for a song.

The song is already written incase you were wondering and to choose the name all you have to do is listen to the song have a read of the lyrics and send in your song title.

Im guessing most people will go for the obvious so im taking my time to come up with something unique and if you want to give it a try here’s the link.

E3 GT5 Special Report

If you’re a massive fan of GT5 like i am you’ll love watching this. What made my ears tense up was when they mention the 48 player lobby. Ok so we know there will be no more than 16 cars on a track at once but why 48 people in the lobby? Here’s my guess (and it is only my guess) 16 x 3 = 48 so what’s the chance’s we might be able to have 16 cars with 3 drivers each. We know 24 hour race’s will be a feature so it would make sense if you could do a 24 hour race sharing the car between yourself and 2 other friends. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see but for now enjoy this in depth report on GT5.

Expect more and more news about GT5 and it’s features as we get ever closer to Nov 2nd.
