There has been a lot of discussion since the end of E3 and the main point has been this - "What next Sony? Which games are you going to give the sparkly HD/3D treatment too next?" The majority of game forums are filled with what you would expect - A Final Fantasy Collection. A Gran Turismo Collection. A GTA Collection - but I wasn't satisfied with this. There were so many classics on PS1 and PS2 that I don't think it should be just the big franchises that get the make over. I have scoured the recesses of my brain to come up with a list of forgotten legends that deserve another £25 out of our pocket, a good old HD spit-shine and haven't been mentioned anywhere else. Here it is... A Crash Bandicoot Collection Crash Bandicoot is Playstations prodigal son. He was the unofficial Playstation mascot for 2 [...]

Quite often i hear fellow gamers bangin on about how SOCOM II was the best game ever made and how no SOCOM has compared to it since and even though SOCOM 4 is coming out at the end of this year alot of SOCOM II fans still want it brought back in HD as they believe SOCOM 4 will just be a sell out trying to tap into some of the success COD MW2 had and who can blame them. MW2 was a massive! success outselling blockbusting movies. I personally think SOCOM 4 will be better than most believe but what the hell, im allways up for another PSN exclusive and think it would be interesting to bring SOCOM II back in HD just to see what they're all bangin on about. Zipper (creators of SOCOM) did say they might not bring S2 back as it may be one of those situations where some things are better left in the past and there's a possibility that bringing it back in HD might destroy that memory for everyone who played the original. With that said though, there are still about 150 people still playing SOCOM II online with [...]

I recently decided to invest in a rare backwards compatible PS3 so i could be one of the few with a pre-3.25 update playstation 3 and thought i might aswell make it a rare PS3 while im at it. So now i can play Gran Turismo 4, 3, 2, or what ever game i like while im waiting for GT5 to be released. So with my New PS3 hooked up to my 32 inch flatscreen with a HDMI cable i have only just realized how great the Graphics are. GT4 was released in 2005 on the playstation 2 and i don't know about you but i can't ever remember HD TV's being around at all. Although im sure the technology was available, it wasn't yet mainstream and affordable. But even though HD TV wasn't common place it seems Polyphony Digital went all out to create GT4 to look great in todays standards (HD). While i was playing GT4 i thought the PS2 graphics on my HD PS3 arent that far from GT5 Prologue and i can't help but think Polyphony made a game way ahead of its time. 5 Years after the release of GT4 and [...]

(There are Heaps more games that should get a mention but ive decided to cut it there) Oh and lets not forget that almost 1 million Xboxers lost the ability t play online due to chipping their consoles lol. 2010 is going to be the BEST year yet for Playstation3. Why??? Its Only The Year Gran Turismo 5 Is Going To Be Released! From what i have gathered so far GT5 will come on 3 Blu Ray discs (thats 150GB's worth of BluRay disc space) with over 1000 cars [...]

It seems that game technology is taking a new turn with new technology's coming out all the time, with HD 3d already on its way into our living rooms there's a few different ways to give you a realistic feeling during gameplay. Im really looking forward to also seeing what kind of game content will be coming out in 2010 with the new PS3 Motion controller too.
