PS3 Move Demo on Engadget Last night i watched a live demo of the PS3 Move (on Engadget) where i got to see a Live demo which has never been seen before. The video below opens up my mind to alot of possibilities. The demo shows a few things we've already seen but the video below shows it might one day turn our PS3 into our interactive virtual 3D desk where we read our emails and watch movies or even listen to music. A little like a minority report type thing or ARI from heavy rain (ARI is the program the FBI agent uses to look through files in heavy rain) Playstation Move in 2001 - 2004 For those of you who think the Playstation Move is just Sony copying the nintendo Wii, this should convince you its not just Wii on PS3. In the video below you can see Dr Richard Marks Demoing Enhanced Reality with The EyeToy & wands in 2004. (FYI the Nintendo Wii was released in 2005)

Its expected that GT5 will include 3D gaming aswell as use of the new Playstation Move although no one is quite sure how polyphony will incorperate the Move into GT5's gameplay but most people seem to think it will just be used as a steering wheel much like mario kart on the wii. I on the other hand think that Polyphony will find a new and exciting way to use this new controller. any idea's?

The playstation Move as it was just named is set for release this autum with approx 20 games currently being created. Some of you may think "arh,,, they're just copying the Nintendo Wii" but its more like playstation have recreated the Wii to work like it should. The Wii controller works in a very different way to the PS3 Move. Look at it this way, on the wii, say, in a boxing game, you can just lighly flick your wrist and your fighter will throw a punch. On the PS3 Move however in a fighting game if you flick your wrist your fighter will do exactly that. the key wordwhen thinking about the PS3 Move is Precision! To fight using the Move you have to actually fight as if you were there. At the end of the press conference Jack Trenton speaks and talks about the ping pong game and says if you know how to play ping pong well you will be good on the game, if your not very good at it, then you will have to learn and it won't be easy. But once you do you will be able to play [...]
