8001050F Old Phat PS3 Consoles stop working.
If your PS3 gets this error code don’t worry. theres nothing you can do, Don’t delete anything or format anything, Just be patient and Sony will Fix it soon. Ill keep you posted.

Time for a bit of a rant i think. ALL OF YOU WHO GAME ONLINE WHO DON’T HAVE A MIC………. GO OUT AND BLOODY BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s not just MAG it happens but because MAG relys heavily on team work the need for everyone using a mic is multiplyed. How do you think our troops in Irag would do if they had no way of communicating with each other.

Some games dont really require you to be able to talk online to be sucsessful but its still good to talk.
The official PS3 mic is great as it lets you use it while its charging on its stand but any bluetooth headset will work with the PS3 (almost any but i have not yet found one that doesn’t) which means you can get a mic for less than a tenner (Tenner = £10 for you NA’s)
My First 3D experience

I was walking round Tesco the other day and as i was going through the movie section i noticed Final Destination 3-D. Picked it up, had a little look and saw it was in 3d and includes the 3D glasses with the movie. As i have never seen one of these movies (as old as this one red lens one blue lens technology is) i thought why not. It cost me £17.99 as its a Blu-Ray thought i can always sell it if. So i bought it.
Pop Out
I sat down and started to watch it and its a bit wierd at first. I spent the first half an hour waiting to see hands jumping out of the screen but its not what i saw. If you too have never seen one of these movies and like me are excited about the whole new generation of 3-D technology coming our way later on this year i would recommend you try it out. You dont see things popping out of the screen but its more like you can see there’s distence between objects in the foreground and background. The best scene in the movie is one wherethe camera is above a table looking directly down as someone pops a champagne cork, It will make you flinch. Another great scene where the 3D element really makes a difference is when they’re talking to a mechanic through a fence, the fence really pops out its cool.
Red n Blu
The red and Blue glasses take a little while to get used to but when you take them off after a while things get even stranger lol, Just for a few seconds till your eyes adjust. However watching this movie i can see exactly how the NEW 3D technology (used in AVATAR) will look. Exactly like this but sharper, and everything in the correct color. Im still very excited but its not exactly as good as i thought it would be. I think 3-D will be a part of the future though and not just a passing fad. Would i recommend buying this movie? Well, Yes i would. If you haven’t seen a 3D movie before and are interested then give it a shot. If you already saw AVATAR in tru 3D i prolly wouldn’t bother.

Ive been reading about Heavy Rain for years now, I saw photo’s of some of the graphics months before the playstation 3 was released, This tells me that this game is going to be something else. I do believe that this game will be the blueprint for a whole new genre opening our consoles to a whole new kind of experience. Not theres anything wrong with the gaming scene today but you can always improve right?
David Cage the CEO and founder of Quantic Dream gave a brief description of the game ….
“Heavy Rain is about normal people who have landed in extraordinary situations. I wanted a much more personal story. The first thing that came to my mind, as a father of two little boys, was that the main theme should simply be a father’s love for his son. This is not a game about saving the princess or the world. Its [sic] purely about a father’s love. The main story will revolve around four different characters, and we’re putting the spotlight on their perceptions. The question ‘what is good and what is evil’ is the key here, that will be just a matter of viewpoint…I believe heavily in moral choices, I’m going to use them A LOT. They’re not about being good or bad, but about finding the right balance.”
This isnt going to be a simple ‘choose a door, or kill him – let him live’ kind of choice game. I think this game is going 
to pull you in right at the begining, gettin you to feel for the characters so you become yourself immersed into the story making some of the choices very hard to make. i saw in one video trailer how you are asked almost in a SAW stylee “to cut off the last sction of one of your fingers off to save a life” which should make for a very moody and quite dark story/game. If a character dies, the game will not end and control will be switched over to a new character but with the added effect of the now dead chracter affecting the story. If all characters dies then you get a propper ending. It seems that it will ba different story everytime you play. Added to that some of the most amazing graphics ive seen to date (watch video below) you wont see graphics this good on the fagbox, ahem sorry i mean Xbox.
I have opted out of displaying a trailer for the game as im sure you will be seeing trailers all over the placein the next month. For the lucky european PS3′ers they can already (as long as they signed up) start solving the a murder on Playstation Home in the presentation podium as long as they have their pass (the PS Home T-shirt available here ) . Alot of people are gettin very excited about this game and one of the best things about it is its a Playstation Exclusive.
Will heavy Rain beat Gran Turismo 5 and get Game Of The Year 2010?

I’m sure if you have a playstation, people on your friends list and your connected online then im sure you have had the odd spam message. PLEASE STOP. I just got one this morning saying how playstation want to charge you for playing online and if you fwd this message to all your friends, then it wont happen aslong as the message gets fwd’d to over 100,000 people or what about the one saying that microsoft want to buy the rights to exclusive DLC content for Modern Warfare 2 etc etc etc

Trust me, when you foward a message you care copying the text and pasting it into a new message so there is no way they can track it. so STOP SPAMMING, Spaming should be kept to the microsoft network I.E. laptops, Computers and xbox’s.
One sure way to stop it if it bothers you like it does me is change your comment to SPAM = DELETE and warn your friends if they spam you, you will delete them from your friends list and you will notice it will soon stop.
The reason im writing this post today is i have a new friend on my list who posted me some spam today and thought i should address the issue as im sure it still goes on outside my group of Playstation Friends.
