PlayStation just made an announcement "Important Access to the PlayStation Network and Access to Qriocity Services Notice Unauthorized circumvention devices for the PlayStation 3 system have been recently released by hackers. These devices permit the use of unauthorized or pirated software. Use of such devices or software violates the terms of the “System Software License Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System” and the “Terms of Services and User Agreement” for the PlayStation Network/Qriocity and its Community Code of Conduct provisions. Violation of the System Software Licence Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System invalidates the consumer guarantee for that system. In addition, copying or playing pirated software is a violation of International Copyright Laws. Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 System terminated permanently. Get a nice long look at the NGP (Next Gen Portable) aka the PSP2 during this interview with Kaz Harai from Sony PlayStation. I think Sony are becoming very comfortable in their ability to release excellent devices and then tease us all for a long period of time till we start climbing the walls in anticipation. Am I going to be buying this as soon as it comes out, even though game support might not be that great at release time?  Hell yeah! In 2009 The PSP Go was set to be announced at Gamescom but some how got leaked a day or 2 before the event and since then with the blogosphere armed with twitter, it seems to be getting tougher for companies like Sony to keep big announcements under wraps. With videos of the Xperia Play being shown on engadget the night before the PlayStation event held in Japan today, Part of me thought all the Playstation event has to show is maybe the Xperia Play and maybe demo some not yet seen game content........ I was wrong! The sly dogs at SONY have pulled off something I thought was banished from the internet ????? world for good, A surprise announcement! The demonstration shows the NGP (Next Generation Portable) a game from the Uncharted series but with added controls. Notice the touch pad located on the back of the NGP which is used (in this demo) to make Nathan Drake climb the rope and also the touch screen used for climbing the wall and killing the bad dudes. Added to that 3G, WiFi and GPS capabilities this little glossy slab of magic has a SERIOUS amount of possibilities. Is it me or does it seem like every company that sells many different products such as Cloths, Food, Electronics, Video Games and Now Sony PlayStation has a rewards system coming out. I just recently signed up with Game Stops 'Power Up Rewards' program and I checked my Email today to see if I had any new Emails and I had one from PlayStation Network I opened the Email to find a invitation to join to beta.So I signed up got the automatic welcome Email and now i'm ready to start earning points. I'm not sure why I was invited into the beta but it could be because I subscribed to PlayStation Plus on the very first day it came out or for the TONS of stuff I downloaded of the store. People think that PlayStation Plus is a waste of money NO WAY! Within the first 2 months of the year package I got back the money i spent on the Ton of free stuff you get with it such as games, themes, avatars, and Beta invites.
