Throughout the whole afternoon KZ3 3D had the longest line out of all the games on offer and I'd think to my self if i wait in that huge line im gonna be missing out on valuable play time as the event only lasts 4 hours but the long wait in the line has to be endured, it just has to. So after we worked our way around the room playing everything we wanted to try me and Damopointy finally took the plunge and joined the long line of people waiting to play on one of the two KZ3 3D stations. Luckily for us they opened up a near by practise station for MotorStorm so people waiting for KZ3 3D could at least use the time stood in line to get a lil practise for the MotorStorm 3D TV competition (SCORE!). The KZ3 3D stations consist of 1 controller, a seat for two and two pairs of 3D specs and as we got towards the end of the Queue there happened to [...]

The anticipation of actually being one of the people I usually see at events like E3 and TGS playing GT5 kept me awake most of the night before the event. I think I managed to get about 4 hours sleep, I just couldn't stop thinking about it. The whole journey there I was looking around at the other people going about their day thinking, is that person a gamer? does he/she know about BetaRooms? if so I wonder what he/she would do to be as lucky as me right now? As i got off one train to wait for the next one I managed to fit in 20 mins of GT PSP, well i gotta get my car collection up right? Then it was on to the next train and in just 45 more minutes I would be sitting in front of a 3D TV playing Gran Turismo 5. When i arrived it was so great to be in line for [...]

With 3D technology set to make its entrance into our bedrooms and living rooms later on this summer (2010) i thought i better have a look into what exactly will be needed to enjoy this new experience. Sony have announced the Playstation already has the technology to run 3D. How does it work? We've all seen 3D has been around for quite a while but as our technology in the home gets more and more powerfull we get the ability to do cooler and cooler things like 3D. The old way was to use a red and blue lense or gel over each eye allowing you to see 2 different pictures displayed on one screen. The new way is pretty much using the same principals. A Tv throws out 2 x 120Hz images (120HZ = 12 frames per second) 120 Hz to your left eye and 120 Hz to your right eye then you use the HD 3D glasses which have a shutter system that recieves a signal from the tv telling them when to close the left eye and when to close the right eye and they do this at 120 Hz or 120 frames per [...]

Picked it up, had a little look and saw it was in 3d and includes the 3D glasses with the movie. As i have never seen one of these movies (as old as this one red lens one blue lens technology is) i thought why not. It cost me £17.99 as its a Blu-Ray thought i can always sell it if. So i bought it. Pop Out I sat down and started to watch it and its a bit wierd at first. I spent the first half an hour waiting to see hands jumping out of the screen but its not what i saw. If you too have never seen one of these movies and like me are excited about the whole new generation of 3-D technology coming our way later on this year i would recommend you try it out. You dont see things popping out of the screen but its more like you can see there's distence between objects in the foreground and background. The best scene in the movie is one wherethe camera [...]
