V1.06 = Success! I used to be a bit of a Light Machine Gun whore on MAG, i figured its the way to go as it was pretty acurate and you get a 100 bullet clip (depending on which PMC your on) but the 1.06 update changed that (which is a good thing) the LMG's are now a lot less acurate but does this pack a punch. Since the 1.06 patch was released i have to say im very happy with it so far. The assault rifle is my new weapon of choice as its accurate and now has a little more killing power as before the patch you would pretty much have to unload an entire clip into someone to get a kill. Which means you see alot less people running round with LMG's (Very good Zipper) Ive noticed the shotgun seems to be pretty deadly. The patch has made all short range weapons very powerfull up close but with a little distance and they're useless. This goes for the pistol, Shotgun and SMG aswell. March 25th Free MAG DLC Yes your not going mad. The first MAG DLC is going to be released on March 25th and will be completely free. The DLC will inclue a flashbang grenade aswell as a light machine gun, 1 for each PMC and! aditional light uniforms also 1 for each PMC and to celebrate MAGs first DLC Zipper will be running double points weekend.  Starting March 25. Simply log in at 12am Pacific/ 3am Eastern/ 8am GMT and play MAG as you normally would. Every time you complete a game your experience doubles, and yes, this bonus stacks for Veterans who already have an XP bonus to begin with! Just make sure you actually complete the games you play – if you quit early, your bonus won’t apply. Expect the Double XP promotion to run until 11:59pm Pacific time on Sunday, March 28. Yup you read it right. MAG (Massive Action Game) has gone gold (whatever that means)  which means to me that they are now in the OPEN Beta stage before the game is released laters this month. from jan 4th 2009 Zipper Interactive say that "ANYONE with a playstation 3 and an internet connection will be able to download the MAG beta for free from the Playstation store.
